David Phillips, LMHC

David Phillips, LMHC

People have struggles and challenges that are unique to themselves, that are a part of their full life story. Together, we find a way for them to move forward. With my “counselor hat” on I help find those places and ways in which things in the “outside” life of the client can be adjusted and changed. With my “therapist hat” on I sit side by side with the client as we explore and gently unfold the “inside” life. Approaching from both directions, difficulties can be shifted to both look and feel differently.

I enjoy working with adults, teens and tweens. I am comfortable interfacing with other professionals as needed. I also bring a life of working in “the real world” to the table and find that this is invaluable to understanding and working with the real world problems of my clients.

It is the very unique person who walks through the door. That is where I begin and it is something I never lose sight of.
